There are no restrictions on access to discounts due to age or any health conditions you may have. However, services already completed or in progress before you join are not discounted.

If you apply in the family program, immediate family members residing in your household can use your AbbaWell membership card. You will be asked to provide application information for your immediate family members when you sign up.

The AbbaWell card has no access to private medical information. Only the providers have that information.

There are no co-pays or deductibles that need to be met. However, you must pay the pharmacy once you’ve received your prescription. Participating providers have an agreement that they will not bill the member for the difference between their usual fee and the reduced fee.

The AbbaWell card prescription drug program provides savings on both generic and name brand prescriptions. It allows for unlimited use by the member and his / her family. Prescription drug costs vary by provider due to differences in both retail and wholesale prices for their products. When the pharmacy’s usual and customary charge (retail price) is lower than the AbbaWell card discounted price, members will pay the lower price.

If a provider does not accept the card, contact Member Services at the toll-free number in your AbbaWell fulfillment kit and the representative will help you.

Yes. Our Telehealth program allows the patient to speak to one of the doctors in our network of more than 5000 US Board Certified Physicians on the phone or through a web portal to obtain non-emergency medical attention and prescriptions. A prognosis is provided over the phone; prescriptions are called-in or faxed to the local pharmacy.

No. You can call the doctor an unlimited number of times each month. However, it the doctor feels that you need to be seen by your primary care physician or if they feel that you are excessively over using the services, the physician may direct you to a more appropriate medical professional.

Yes. Our US Board Certified Physicians are available to our members that travel throughout the United States and when they travel abroad. When our member is outside the United States, the doctor is utilized as a medical adviser and cannot write a prescription.
