AbbaWell currently contracts with U.S. State Licensed healthcare practitioners in all 50 states.  This includes Medical Doctors and both Dependent and Independent Nurse Practitioners.

All providers must be state-licensed and have NPI numbers.  Onboarding includes complete vetting including interviews, full credentialing, and background checks.

Contracted AbbaWell healthcare providers are among the highest-paid telehealth providers in the industry.  AbbaWell pays all contracted providers by direct deposit ACH to the provider’s bank account monthly.

Yes, retail consumers who contact AbbaWell directly through our website or by phone requesting a physician consultation for common ailments, prescription refills, laboratory tests, etc. will pay a small consultation at the time of the request. For members of organizations that are contracted with AbbaWell, there are no co-pays or deductibles that need to be met.  However, patients must pay the pharmacy when they receive their prescription. If the patient has health insurance a consultation provided by AbbaWell and paid for by the patient may be able to be claimed by the patient, through their health insurance for reimbursement.  This may also apply to prescriptions that are paid for by a patient.

AbbaWell does NOT BILL INSURANCE on behalf of the patient for consultations or prescriptions.

Yes.  AbbaWell has clinical guidelines for the various healthcare consultations provided by AbbaWell.  We have a Medical Liaison Team – (MLT) of physicians who are experienced in providing telehealth services.  They are available to AbbaWell providers for clinical consultation and accountability.  The AbbaWell MLT also provides quality oversight of our healthcare staff and reports to executive management any recommended corrective actions or recognition for exceptional patient care.
